Q: Hi People, I have another question that I am sure you experts will be able to help me with! I have read that the wardrobe space is good on board but what about coathangers? There is nothing worse than not having enough and it would be so easy to pack some extra in the suitcase as we aren't flying to get to the port. Can anybody tell me how many each cabin has? Many thanks. 7 answers

We tackle this in a different way, we have to stack a lot of their hangers on the top shelf because some of my clothes and the majority of Ida's clothes, that need hangers, are packed with our hangers on them in the suit cases. Wooden ones when we have no flight and plastic coated wire ones for when flying. The reason...... we can unpack, hanging clothes straight from the suitcases, in a quarter of the time it would take to hang them on their hangers and we are relaxing doing what we want to far earlier that way. The same applies to that awful packing up bit as well. I know that several other old hands do the same. .......Neil

We always take a couple of the trouser/skirt clip hangers with us whenever we travel. You won't get those when you ask for more hangers and they are so useful.

Quite simply, you can ask your cabin attendant and he or she will bring you as many coathangers as you wish. However, dont know if you are male or female, but if like me you prefer certain types of coathangers for particular items of clothing; ie the springy out skirt hangers, the clip type trouser hangers and thin hangers with strap indents then take some of your own. Most of the hangers they provide are the thick - gentlemans suit type.

My por Husband (He who Must be Obeyed) has enough problems with me taking half of Boots the Chemist with me. Now, you tell me I've got to take my own loo paper! Let's see 6 rolls a day X 14 days Cruising =... Hang on, some days I'll be ashore and some are Sea Days, then sometimes we go to a late show and don't get back to our room until gone midnight, and some days we get up early and have breakfast in our cabin... So how do I work all that out? I give up... Jacquie
