Having cruised several
times with a variety of
different cruise
companies and ships we
decided to book an
all-inclusive cruise on
Regent Seven Seas Voyager
with some friends who
were married in the same
week as us 45 years ago...
We returned home recently
after a seven night
cruise on Regent Seven
Seas 'Voyager' to the
Greek Islands &
Turkey to celebrate my
60th birthday. What can
I say!!! We had booked a
mid-ship 'suite' (a
balcony cabin) which far
exceeded our
expectations...
Having just read the
blogs about the auto
tipping and taking drinks
onboard I thought I would
post regarding our recent
cruise with Regent.
We flew to Istambul and
were greeted at the
airport and bused to the
ship with little fuss...
Sailing through pirate
infested waters between
Yemen and Somalia
en-route from Dubai to
Athens proved remarkably
peaceful on Regent
Voyager. Jerusalem on
Good Friday was much more
frightening - absolutely
heaving with pilgrims
carrying crosses...
We took advantage of a
special promotional
discount offer courtesy
of this website and never
looked back.
The flights were
inclusive and we enquired
about going business but
at £250.00 per
person per leg thought it
rather expensive,however
when asking...
After using nearly all
the popular cruise lines
over many years and
finding the standard
dropping, in our opinion
due to squeezing
pricewise. My wife and
myself decided to go a
step higher to see if we
could find standards of
yesteryear...
I chose this cruise as a
surprise for our 40th
wedding anniversary and
we were not disappointed
at all. I booked it
through Cruise UK and was
treated extremely well
from the very beginning.
The RSSC website was also
very good allowing me to
reserve the 2...
What can I say! This has
been top class from start
to finish. My husband
treated me to this cruise
for my 50th birthday and
it was amazing. The crew
were lovely, the ship is
absolutely spotless. The
food is wonderful. The
service is absolutely six
star...
We have cruised with
Regent since 2007. This
cruise from Singapore to
Sydney was our fifth with
Regent, and our fifth
overall. Thus it is fair
to conclude we have been
very satisfied with
Regent: we like the all
inclusive pricing, no
nasties or filling...
