North Cape on the Norwegian Jade. June I drove to Southampton Docks leaving my suitcase at the terminal, parked my car and walked back to the Terminal and joined a queque for the ship. This did not take too long, along walk to board the ship...

Having previously cruised with Thomson and Island Cruises I was a little unsure what to expect on the 'huge' Crown Princess, but I have to say I've just had the best cruise so far! The ship is only 3 years old and this was evident straight away in the decor...

Only go on the Ventura if you have loads of kids, have children you dont care about what or where they do it, if you are a lager lout covered in peircings and tattoos. If you dont care about any entertainment ,you want to save 10 sunbeds for yourself each day...

Arrived at the terminal 11.40 bags out of car valet parking ready to drive away.Sat down for a light lunch at 12.20. The best embarkation time we have ever had at any port.In cabin at 1.15 bags already waiting certainly P&O seam to handle baggage better...

Our first time on OV2, but it seemed almost identical to OV1. Problems on day 2 as an engine played up, meaning we went so slowly we had to miss Dubrovnik in order to get to Venice on time. Some passengers were unhappy with this...
