We boarded in Dubai
following a night flight
with Virgin airlines. It
seems there were several
flights with mixed
reaction. Our flight was
cramped and
uncomfortable; I would
not do a night flight
again. The reception at
Dubai airport was
shambolic...
Returned from our cruise
on the Queen Elizabeth
just before Easter. We
sailed from Sydney to
Dubai, 36 days. Cabin
8179, stern starboard
corner, lovely big cabin
and balcony. Only
grouse, would have been
nice to have had a table
and chairs as well as...
We chose a sector on the
world cruise from
Singapore to Dubai on
board the Queen
Elizabeth. First thing,
wish we had booked an
extra day in Singapore.
The transfer was a bit
frantic from the hotel
with people pushing and
shoving to get on the
coach...
At very short notice
(ie.five days) I was
fortunate to obtaon a
very good deal on a
cruise on MSC Lirica from
Dubai back to Southampton
(for £499)
However I was vert
embarrassed to find that
a single young lady who
had only booked a month
ago has paid...
26th march, 2012, cruise
from dubai, to india,
then muscat, started with
a flight on emirates,
really dissapointed, the
crew cabin were surley,
the food arrived which we
found to be excellent,
when we had finished our
food, they then came with
a bottle of...
What a fantastic cruise
taken to a hotel on
arrival in dubai for
breakfast was able to
check into ship there and
luggage taken to ship so
no waiting at terminal.
Ship was spotless we had
a sup balcony cabin
plenty of bars to choose
from we never got...
Finally this cruise
fitted into our schedule.
We arrived in Dubai the
night before embarkation
and stayed at the Premier
Inn Dubai Airport. Took a
taxi from hotel too Port
Rashid (AED 70).
Embarkation went smoothly
and we were onboard the
ship within 30...
Diffident about spending
three weeks in Lirica
after reading some
reviews,but the trip was
most enjoyable. All staff
from the Captain down
were very pleasant and
keen to please, the
service could not be
faulted...
When I saw that this
cruise from Abu Dhabi to
Muscat via Fujairah,
Khasab and Dubai was
being offered at under
£600 I thought it
worth booking even if
only for some winter sun.
In fact it was much more
than that...
