We cruised from
Southampton on 3 May 2012
to St Petersberg on the
MSC Opera. When we first
arrived at the port, our
baggage was dropped off
and we went to check in.
At that point, everything
was fine. Check in was
poorly organised with too

Flight from Gatwick to

were met by MSC rep at
the airport at Venice,

food was also adequate

re-postitional cruise
from Dover to Copenhagen.
I have cruised a fair
amount, and on a wide
range of cruise lines,
from Azamara to P&O.
I had heard lots of
things about MSC, some
good and some bad - so...
The good points were that
the ship was extreamly
clean and the staff we
found to be most helpful
and willing all in all a
beautiful ship but
lacking character.
the food was acceptable
in the dining rooms but
lacked the final touches
to make it great...
