Outstanding Queen Mary 2
We have just returned
from the first leg of the
World Cruise on QM2, she
is truly a lovely ship,
and we have only praise
for the way we were
treated onboard. The
embarkation was very
simple, our cabins were
very adequate (shower...
Myself and my husband
have booked a World
cruise for 2013. Our
financial circumstances
have changed and to save
abit of money we've asked
P&O if we can change
the cruise to a sector of
the world cruise and
transfer our deposit to
the new cruise...
Have been on Ocean
Village a couple of times
before and embarked on a
95 day cruise not really
knowing what to expect.
We were not dissappointed
in any way, boarding the
ship was really well
organised considering the
amout of passengers,the
luggage arrived...
As first time travellers
on Fred Olsen, we threw
ourselves in the deep end
, I guess, by booking for
the whole 108 day world
cruise-it proved, as we
suspected, a great idea,
as the cruise turned out
to be a beauty! The
boarding sequence was
quite pleasant,...
In January we had our
first cruise on Queen
Mary 2. We left
Southampton on Queen
Victoria, a most ecellent
ship on which we have
cruised before. On
arrival in New York, we
transferred to QM2,
normally a smooth and
simple process...
There are lots of good
things to say about P
& O and the 2011
world cruise but
unfortunately, being a
large company, their
responses to genuine
complaints are much more
about defending
themselves than actually
listening...
We 2 of us did the 2011
world cruise on
QV&QM2 our cabin was
an AA Club if you are
going to cruise this is
the grade to choose. Our
cabin on deck 12 was good
this was always clean and
sheets change mostly once
a day the food in the AA
club was very good ...
We cruised on the Artemis
from Singapore to Cape
Town. We too are just
sorry we found this ship
so late. What a lovely,
if tired little ship.
Plenty of sun beds and
the food was good,
although fellow
passengers did mention
that the standards had
fallen...
Sailing from sydney
(after winning the
Ashes!) to southampton
was a happy experience on
balmoral with fred
olsen,s usual high
standards and the
excitement of a destroyer
escort from dubai to suez
to fend off any pirates
as the deck was edged
with barbed wire...
