We booked our holiday
through "cruise.co.uk"
which included 4 days in
Las Vegas, 3 days in L.A.
and a 4 week cruise on
the Queen Victoria. Our
holiday started with a
flight from Gatwick over
to Las Vegas. Here we had
4 fabulous days, with a
stay at the superb...
My wife wanted to sail
into New York .The
crossing from southampton
was a little rough but
the ship is a
transatlantic liner so it
was pretty unnoticable.
our cabin was inside, but
it was acceptable, clean
and comfortable...
This is our first cruise
review so deep breath
here we go. We usually
use the Fred Olsen cruise
line so this was our
first experience with P
& O.
This cruise was chosen
for its itinery which did
not dissapoint...
My wife and I were making
plans to visit friends
who live in Louisiana,
USA. We met them on a
cruise in 1997 and have
cruised with them at
least once or twice a
year ever since. I was
checking for the price of
return flights when I
received an email
detailing...
We cruised on the
Silversea Silver Whisper
from Montreal to New York
in October last year. We
have cruised with
Silversea many times and
each time we have had the
most wonderful holiday.
We took the hotel package
and flew into Montreal
for a 2 night stay at...
Having sailed on the old
QE2, Queen Mary and Queen
Victoria we preferred
Queen Victoria, mainly
because its decor was
more attractive. The
cruise itself was
uneventful but rather
spoilt by dense fog at
two East Coast ports. Our
main problem was noise...
As a first cruise,
perhaps taking on the
North Atlantic was never
going to be a good idea.
We sailed from
Southampton to New York
via Norway, Iceland,
Greenland and Canada.
Crown Princess were the
company and the boat was
acceptable...
Summary.
Well up to
Celebrity’s usual
high standards. It was a
good ship and there were
interesting ports, fine
food and informative
lectures.
Onboard.
We were Concierge class
which, on Celebrity,
means a few little perks
like afternoon...
