We have done o ver 20
cruises our first with
NCL was by far the worst.
The ship is clean, the
staff excellent and the
cabins good They are
also fanatical about the
hand cleansing whish is a
good thing but that is
where it ends...
Just back from the
Canaries for a second
time on Destiny.All
aspects of the cruise
excellent particularly
the staff in all
areas.The one
disappointment was the
standard of the main
evening meal in the Seven
Seas restaurant...
This was our second trip
on Independence of the
Seas; our first being to
the Mediterranean three
years ago. Four of us
decided to take an early
break to warmer climes.
We travelled to
Southampton the day prior
to sailing and stayed at
the Holiday Inn Express...
If you wish a 1 star
quality holiday where you
are charged the earth for
on board items such as
bottles of water at
£2.20 a litre then
the Marco Polo is the
ship for you. This
company is only
interested in making
money...
We have cruised 30 times
over twenty years, and
our first cruise on the
“much loved by so
many” Aurora just
showed us how far the
service and general
quality has deteriorated
over these years. Where
was the Pzazz, the
excitement, the...
We have just come off the
NCL Jade 30 January, and
I have to say I was not
impressed. The ship is
very nice and I suppose
so were the rooms, but
that is where it stops.
Don't get me wrong, we
had a great time...
I thought we had a great
deal on the price of this
cruise until we realised
how expensive it was to
buy drinks on board. We
had no complaints with
the staff and food was
excellent but anything
else seem to carry a
cover charge even an
Indian themed lunch was...
March 2011, my family
& I went on
Independance of the seas,
canary islands, 14 of us,
to celibrate my 60th
& a 70th birthday.
good points, ship was
fantastic &
entertainment first
class, also food &
service excellent...
We have cruised with PO,
Cunard, Princess and
Royal Caribbean before
and this cruise compared
well with our other
cruises. we stayed the
night prior to the cruise
in Southampton in the
Holiday Inn. Very
convenient for
embarkation at the City
cruise terminal...
