Independence of the Seas
sailing from Southampton,
this was the first time
we had been on a flight
free cruise and the
experience has its fors

brother-in-law's 50th

On entering the departure
lounge, we were met by
our concierge who
expressed us through
check in and on into the
VIP lounge from where we
were escorted to our
suite, A luxury penthouse
(over 500sq ft) with a
second seperate bedroom
with its own en suite...

Having sailed 3yrs ago
on this ship l was very
dissapointed this time
around. Good points. The
food wherever we ate was
first class...
Enjoyed an eleven night
cruise to the Canaries on
the Queen Victoria.
We previously sailed on
the QM2, and although a
lovely ship we found the
ambience of the Victoria
much more enjoyable.

Well, what can I say
about our 1st cruise on
IOTS, she is amazing.
Despite all the research,
the virtaul tours etc,
nothing prepared me for
her size and granduer.
Experienced cruisers said
she was well overdue a
refit, I thought
everything was very
smart...
embarkation at
southampton.........what
a breeze! we were onboard
the ship within 10
minuites and bags taken
off you
outside.Windjammer cafe
was already busy as there
was little else to do
until the cabins were
available after 2pm...
