Alaska is a cosmopolitan mixture of Native American, Asian and American culture. Discover the country’s offerings by seeing the mountainous scenery, glacial lakes, and wildlife. The environment and wildlife is core to what Alaska has to offer. Watch the native eagles soaring above the coastline and maybe catch sight of a magnificent whale in its natural habitat.
The best time to explore Alaska is during the summer months as the country is really thriving. Take a tour of the land, learn about the wildlife and see how magical Alaska really is. The summer months mean warmer weather and water, meaning it’s the ideal time to do some Humpback Whale spotting. Trips are also available in the spring and autumn, when the water is usually calmer.
One of the benefits of an Alaska cruise is being able to add a tour onto the beginning or end of your holiday. If you’re travelling from Vancouver - make sure you don’t miss the magical tour of the Rockies. Another popular extra for holidaymakers is a visit to the Denali National Park, a beautiful, natural and untouched Alaskan gem. Speak to our Cruise Experts for more information.
Vancouver Cruises
Catch your cruise from Vancouver, Canada to add another spectacular destination to your holiday. Vancouver is a mix of bustling city life and incredible scenery, with the Cascade Mountains prominently shaping the landscape. When visiting Ketchikan be sure to call to the Totem Heritage centre, which is home to the biggest collection of Totem Poles on Earth.

My first cruise and I was
looking forward to the
holiday of a lifetime.
What I got was a
nightmare. We flew to
SanFrancisco and boarded
the ship. Apparently a
cage containing luggage
broke whilst being
handled with a fork lift
and several pieces were
lost in...
we had the most wonderful
time, a truly trip of a
lifetime. the cabin on
board was spacious and
balcony was well equipped
with a table and four
chairs. We enjoyed all
the ports, we did our own
thing in the ports rather
than Princess excursions
as we found...
This cruise on the
Century was longer than
their normal Alaskan
cruises as it was the
last Alaskan cruise of
the year, and the ship
was then relocating to
commence it's winter
season. As a result, the
cruise lasted 14 nights
instead of 7, and also
included...
My partner and I took our
first cruise from Seward
to Vancouver with Regent
Seven Seas onboard the
Navigator, back in June.
We chose Regent for their
All Inclusive philosophy
and smaller ship size..
Regent had scheduled us
to fly from the UK to
Anchorage...
This was our first
cruise, and we were
'wowed' by so many
aspects of our week on
board the Celebrity
Century. Our voyage was
from Vancouver to Alaska
and back, and took one
week in August 2011. Our
welcome on board by the
crew was warm...
We arrived at the
terminal in Vancouver at
12.30 and expected to
register and board in
time for lunch! We were
told to sit in a
particular row of chairs
and not move. We finally
boarded at 3.45 and had
our "lunch" at 4.10. Not
a good start...
We recently returned from
a wonderful cruise and
land tour of
Alaska.Joined Island
Princess in Vancouver
soon boarded and away
to our cabin on Baja deck
luggage had already been
delivered to our
cabin.Good storage space
and comfortable bed so no
complaints...
We have cruised with
Cunard, P & O,
Celebrity, Thomson, Ocean
Village, Carnival,
Princess and Royal
Caribbean and it is
against this background
that this review is
constructed. All these
lines have their good
points as far as we are
concerned...
