Make me Majestic!

April 2017 is set to be great a month for Princess cruise line as they are getting ready to welcome a brand new fleet member the Majestic Princess and i have been lucky enough to win a space on the very first sailing.

31st March I will join Majestic and the Princess team in Trieste  with a few of my colleagues for a 4 night cruise to Rome giving us plenty of time to explore the new ship and find out everything she will have to offer.

You may remember cruised with Princess for the first time last April and I was extremely impressed with the Caribbean Princess, staff, service and very much Princess life. So I cannot wait to get back on board and see what they have introduced which will be new and what traditional Princess aspects they have included.

The New Majestic Princess which will hold 3600 passengers, will be sister ship to both the Royal and Regal Princess however she will be the first ship built and customised for the Chinese market ready for her year round base in Shanghai and itineraries to include Asia for Japan and Korea.

Features that we have come to know and love will be big focal points once again for Majestic including adults-only Sanctuary; the SeaWalk, a glass walkway that extends from the top deck; Princess Live! TV studio; The Pastry Shop; Chef’s Table Lumiere; Watercolor Fantasy, a dancing fountain of lights and music; and Movies Under the Stars.

Plus New for Majestic –

Two new speciality restaurants; Harmony Cantonese Restaurant. This venue was created in partnership with Chef Richard Chen, former chef of Wing Lei, the first Chinese restaurant in North America awarded a Michelin star. Harmony will feature Chinese cuisine serving Chef Chen’s interpretation of classic Cantonese dishes. Also a newly added speciality restaurant is Le Bistrot, located in the Piazza. Here they will offer casual French home-style dining with a modern twist and will be similar to a Parisian bistro where guests will enjoy traditional escargots casseroles and braised ox tongue, along with tourtes and French patisseries.

For all you budding singers out there, Sing On The Sea karaoke suites is a private karaoke room with a modern design, fitted with sofas, large TV screens and a mini bar.

Shopaholics will enjoy 1,100 square metres of luxury shopping stores which include designer brand shoes from Cartier and Bulvgari, leather goods from Burberry and designer watches by high-end brands including Montblanc and Rado.

So despite this new vessel full time destination being in China before she leaves us, UK guests will have the unique chance to experience the ship on cruises ranging from 7, 14, 21 and 28 day’s long, departing from Rome, Barcelona or Athens. Kicking off with a 5 night sample cruise of the Adriatic if you would like to chance to see the New Majestic Princess please do no hesitate to call me on 0330 303 8260 or email me at mariet@cruise.co.uk.

For live updates from the ship please visit my facebook page from 31st March.

Until next time

Marie
