Harmony within the madness!

So last week madness and mayhem hit the cruise.co.uk HQ when Royal Caribbean surprised us with two new mini cruises set to launch the brand new Harmony of the seas with this the world and his wife flocked to snap up this deal, leaving us consultants making these lot look amateurs.

So what was all the hysteria about?  Why does everyone want to see the Harmony? What has it got to offer? Where, when and how can you see it?

She may not look too special in this photo. But after the success of her sister ships Oasis and Allure of the seas, I can see why everyone is so excited to see her.

Harmony will be the 3rd addition to the Oasis class ships and the newly crowned biggest ship in the world.

The mega ship will have an incredible ten-story waterslide, just one of the four it will have aboard, making it the biggest water park at sea, and a must for all those thrill seekers out there.

Along with some of the favourites from the oasis class including Central park, The Broadwalk and Rear Aquatic theatre. They are also mixing it up a little adding a few of the quirks from her Quantum cousins including the Robotic bar and  Enchanting Wonderland Restaurant.

So scheduled for launch in the spring of 2016, carrying 5,479 passengers, Measuring 227,700 gross registered tons, Harmony of the Seas will be 2,418 GRTs larger than Oasis and Allure, as well as just over two meters longer. It also will be 20 percent more fuel efficient than its sister ships.

When it launches in May 2016, Harmony of the Seas will sail from Barcelona and Rome, visiting such Mediterranean ports as Palma (Mallorca), Florence and Naples. Come fall 2016, Harmony will reposition to its permanent homeport of Port Everglades, sailing seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises for winter 2016/17.

So how can you get onboard to see what this fantastic new ship has to offer. There are still a limited amount of cabin on the two mini cruise launches last week .
