Harmony Mixed with Madness

You may have noticed we are missing a few members of staff this weekend, what you wouldn’t have missed is where they are.

Once again Royal Caribbean has brought a buzz to the cruising world unlike what any other cruise lines seems to be able to compete with. After months of teasing photos , and drip feeding us information, today in Southampton the brand new biggest ship in the world, Harmony of the seas has been unveiled and as usual cruise.co.uk were there for an exclusive first look on board at the newest addition to the ever growing Oasis class family.

Here’s a few facts

*Harmony holds 5479 passengers over 18 decks, plus 2100 crew from 77 difference countries

*Weighing a whooping 227,700 tons

*She is just 33cm bigger than her sisters allowing her the new “Biggest ship in the world” title

*Boasts 42 bars ,  10-storey slide that is the tallest at sea, 23 swimming pools, 20 dining venues, 52 trees, surf simulators, robot bartenders, a casino and climbing walls.

*Cost an eye watering £800 millions build

So apart from, Im sure numerous different cocktails here is what my colleagues have found.

Probably the biggest highlight for them is a must do “The Ultimate Abyss” the first ever twin acing slide at sea cover 10 passengers decks. Towering 150 ft above sea level, with a 100ft drop of twist and turns at an average of 9 mph!!!!!! WOULD YOU BE BRAVE ENOUGH?

Culinary Delights, with food being such big part of cruise. Harmony will not disappoint as this floating city has 20 different dining options including Chops grill, Jamie’s Italian, Sorrentos, Wonderland and the RCCL Favourite Johnny Rockets.

For anyone to say Cruise is boring, truly haven’t seen this ship, with Broadwayay show, aqua spectacular events, rock-climbing, mini golf, water park, luxury shopping promenade, spa, small fair ground rides and so so much more I really do not want to spoil all the surprises for you.                                          .
