Goodbye 2015!!

So that’s it for another year, 2015 was a fabulous year for cruising, with cruise ships big and small hitting our waters.

 

March

P&O Britannia, The biggest UK ships ever built to carry 4324 passengers arrived in true Brit style.

Shortly after this Cruise and Maritime launch their newest member to the fleet the Magellan, small by todays standards holding just 1250 passengers but its intimate and personal touches have been very popular.

April

From one extreme to another, spring 2015 was all about Royal Caribbean and the brand new 4,905  passenger vessel Anthem of the seas, the 2nd addition to the Quantum class family arriving. 2016 will not be a quiet year for the American giants with the 3rd member Ovation of the seas is due along with a new Oasis class  ship Harmony of the seas on her way.

Lastly swticking with the giant theme late 2015 saw NCL launched  a all singing all dancing sister to Getaway and Breakaway the fabulous 4248 capacity vessel “Escape”

So after a year of fantastic cruise news, here at cruise.co.uk we ended the year with some very exciting news of our own,  when we made this years Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 with the 54th fastest growing private company.
