Home away from home , Fred Olsen Boudicca

Well that is me now out of office for 8 whole days , first time this year I have had more than one day off in a row, peaks are a great rush in the travel industry, but very tiring, so looking forward to some good Fred Olsen hospitality.

We had already booked this cruise when we had our conference on board in December , so took a few sneaky pictures, it will be an obsured balcony , so lots more pictures to follow when we are back

A Balcony suite , very nice it looks too! If there are any parts of the ship or cabins you would like me to look at for you , drop me an email [email protected] and I will be happy to oblige.

This is just a short break , before my big Celebrity cruise at the end of September, it just breaks up the year nicely. We start in Southampton on Sunday, then Antwerp and Amsterdam. Not sure what we will be doing in either port yet , the first 24 hours will most likely be lots of sleeping, eating and drinking, maybe not in that order!!

This will be my fourth time on Fred Olsen , everyone seemed surprised, but I love them , the staff are really friendly and the food is always hot, do not know how they get this part right, maybe the smaller ships have an advantage here, and to be honest as long as I do not have to cook /wash up/ iron or do any of the usual mundane things in life it will be a very welcome break.

On a serious note I am a little concerned about Antwerp with all the news at the moment, it is so sad that there is a small minority of people in this world that continue to make it a sad place for others. I will let you know how we get on

Until next time !
