If you’ve cruised with Celebrity, you need to read this!

Next month I’ll be sailing on Eclipse for 8 nights doing the 8 night Norwegian Fjords itinerary. I’m hoping for calmer seas than those I had on Divina a couple of years ago (Click here and scroll down a bit for the video I took of the pool!)

The last time I was on Celebrity Eclipse to actually sail (I’ve done a day ship visit but it was a whirlwind tour!) was on her pre-inaugural sailing in 2009 when she’d just rescued a load of Brits from France after the ash cloud grounded all the flights.  She cancelled one of her inaugural sailings to bring people back from France to the UK. On her arrival back in the UK, I spent 2 nights on the ship.

Since then, a lot has changed on the ship with the addition of new restaurants, shows and lots more. So I’m looking for your help. Which restaurants are not to be missed? And which shows to I need to make sure I see?

I really fancy the look of Qsine (mainly because it’s quirky!) – is it worth the money?  I think the children (8 and 5) would like the quirkyness too – have you taken your children? Did they enjoy it?

Are there any other restaurants you’d recommend?

And the ports…. The itinerary is the Norwegian one. I’ve visited Bergen, Gerainger and Alesund before but would love to hear any recommendations for ‘must do’s’ in those ports. Do you know of any hidden gems? We’re also visiting Stavanger and Flam so I’d like recommendations for those too 🙂

Thank you all in advance for your help – we’re very excited and I look forward to reading your comments!
