Go Kart at sea??

Norwegian cruise lines are planning on their new ship, Norwegian Joy to feature the first ever Go Kart at sea.The ship which is currently being built and due to be launched in summer 2017, so not too long now. It will feature a 2 level open air racetrack which will be located on the top deck. The ship will have a capacity of 3900 passengers and is aimed at the Chinese market as the ship will be based in Shanghai and Beijing. This will be one of a few innovations on board planned. There will also be an open air laser tag course on board, multi- storey water slides and a virtual reality room complete with simulator rides and interactive video walls, called the Galaxy Pavilion.Norwegian Joy will also feature a new ‘Concierge’ category where, as the name suggests, guests will receive a specialised concierge service, as well as access to an exclusive lounge. This is in direct competition with the Royal Caribbean Quantum class ships and also Carnival who are launching the Carnival Vista this year with the pedal-powered SkyRide activity that will allow passengers to “cycle” an 800-foot circuit in open-sided cabs 150 feet above the deck.Norwegian Joy will also feature a new ‘Concierge’ category where, as the name suggests, guests will receive a specialised concierge service, as well as access to an exclusive lounge. I am wondering what else are they going to think of next? As we have had almost anything so far. Any suggestions?NorwegianJoy.RaceCar1
