Cunard 2018

Cunard has announced their 2018 deployment this week. The fleet is still the 3 ships, Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2.Summer 2018 will feature the Queen Mary 2 on her trans-Atlantic program, while the Queen Elizabeth sails in Northern Europe and the Queen Victoria also offers cruises in Northern Europe before moving to the Mediterranean later in the year. New for Cunard will be Fly Cruises from Barcelona in 2018 in September/October 2018 for 12, 21 and 24 nights on the Queen Victoria Prices start from £1549 per person.She will also do a cruise out of Barcelona and back to Southampton at the end of the season on October 25th with prices from £1149. Also she will do Fly Cruises from Rome for 7 nights /14 nights during September, prices start at £1199 per person. he Queen Mary 2 continues its trans-Atlantic program, with 22 seven-night voyages. There are also 12 round-trip sailings from New York (Brooklyn) on the Queen Mary 2, with trips to the Caribbean, New England/Canada and Europe.  Also there are 20 new maiden Cunard calls, including: Rockland (United States), Sept IIes (Canada), Visby (Sweden), Riga (Latvia), Klaipeda (Lithuania), Bodo (Norway), Narvik (Norway), Hvar (Croatia), Puerto del Rosario (Spain), La Rochelle (France), Gijon (Spain), Taormina (Italy), Portree (United Kingdom), Donegal (Ireland), Haugesund (Norway), Propriano (Corsica), Portoroz (Slovenia) and Rijeka (Croatia). Cunard will add more overnight stops in various ports to allow people to see more of those places. There are also ten ports being brought back after a hiatus from Cunard’s deployment. These ports are Fort de France (Martinique), Kingstown (St Vincent), Gdynia (Poland), Bilbao (Spain), Corner Brook (Canada), Travemunde (Germany), Helsingor (Denmark), Alghero (Sardinia), Helsinki (Finland) and Kristiansand (Norway). The future looks exciting for Cunard, and let’s not forget it’s for the year after next, as we still have 2017 to look forward to!
