Last week Global Traveler Leisure Lifestyle awarded Cunard with the best Large-Ship Cruise Line award. The award presentation took place at the Sofitel Los Angeles hotel in Beverly Hills, California.Cunard’s three Queens – Queen Mary 2, Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria – are widely known for their luxurious accommodations and affording guests with a true luxury on a grand scale experience.This year marks a new chapter in Cunard’s storied history as flagship Queen Mary 2 is undergoing an extensive refurbishment from May 27 to June 21, 2016. This renovation will refine and refresh guest interior spaces and launch new exciting innovations designed to exceed guest expectations. Some of the key developments include refreshed public spaces, 15 new single staterooms, 30 additional Britannia Club Balcony Staterooms, and an enhancement of the only kennel at sea. I have been many times with Cunard and I just love their style, it is different to other cruise lines and it’s always for me more sophisticated ,elegant and luxurious than other lines so well deserve it in my opinion. For the fourth consecutive year, Global Traveler has explored the business of leisure travel by recognizing the world’s best leisure destinations, airlines, cruises and hotel groups.
