Back from Alaska

I am recently back from Alaska and I still can’t get over the amazing experience that we had there. This is a trip of a lifetime that gives you great and unforgettable memories. Where do I start? We spent a week in Vancouver initially seeing all the sights of this beautiful city and there is a lot to see. We started with Stanley Park which overlooks at the bay with fantastic scenery and natural beauty. We did the Fly Over Canada experience which is at the cruise port, a simulated flight ride over all Canada that gives you the taste for this amazing country. Then we did the Capilano suspension bridge, again, fantastic views and very thrilling. We went to Granville Island which is a culinary market with lots on offer. We climbed on Seymour Mountain to see the views over Vancouver, it’s about an hour and a half hike each way. We also crossed to Vancouver Island on board a ferry and seen some fantastic places and beaches. We also drove to Whistler which is only an hour and a half drive from Vancouver and to see this beautiful ski resort in the summer is fantastic. On the way back we saw Shannon Falls. I think we needed another week at least to see all the other places, so I wish we had longer time there. Then the highlight of the trip was boarding the Celebrity Infinity ship in Vancouver on a 7 night inside passage cruise. The ship was excellent, good food, brilliant service with a smile and everything we expected from Celebrity. we had an ocean view cabin which was sufficient and allow us to see some views especially in the morning when we wake up. We did a few trips through Celebrity which were good and the sailing through the glacier was amazing. I have never seen anything like it before not even in the Norwegian fjords. I would recommend to do Alaska, you won’t regret it!
