Tamir's Travels

Are you sleeping well?

How many people can say that they had a good night sleep? There are so many people that has got sleepless nights or a partner that keeps them awake because they tossing and turning, and especially on a cruise you want to improve your sleep as the main reason you are on a cruise is to relax isn’t it? So the new Celebrity Cruises wellness program that focuses on sleep is a fantastic idea and long overdue in the cruise industry. This is new from Celebrity and I hope it catches with other lines.Celebrity launched its “Mindful Dreams” program on the Celebrity Equinox and the Celebrity Summit this month, with the rest of the fleet to follow in September. It will be offered through the Canyon Ranch which has been the flagship of Celebrity’s Well being and Spa centre for a number of years now.Mindful Dreams” instead offers a combination of a relaxation treatment, massage and meditation, and access to expert lectures and classes on a “holistic approach to mindful sleep both on land and at sea.” I hope this program will do well as it’s sound like a very good idea and especially on sea days I think it will be a hit. While many cruise lines promote the relaxing quality of the mattresses and beds onboard, that relaxation lasts only as long as the cruise. This program could have an impact long after the cruise is over. I suffer from sleepless nights myself every now and again and I am going to try this program when I am cruising with Celebrity next year and see if it helps. If it does give me just good night sleep while i am cruising I think it’s already worth it. I would imagine it won’t be cheap but who knows? Are you going to try it?
