Sneak Peak In To New P&O Ship….

P&O have just released details on their next ship to be launched in 2020.  This will be the largest ship ever built for British guests.

I for one am very excited to learn about this new ship and to see how it will compete with all the other new ships being launched across the different cruise lines.

Here are some fast facts about what we know so far:

• This ship will hold 5,200 passengers
• There will be a new all weather entertainment hub called The Dome which will feature a clear sky dome, pool with retractable stage, water feature and whirlpools
• There will be an uninterrupted half-mile promenade around the ship on Deck 8 which will provide easy access to al fresco dining and relaxation areas under shaded pavilion awnings
• There will be three decks of glass walls allowing natural light into The Atrium which is the central heartbeat of the ship

Guests will be spoiled for choice for dining, entertainment, socialising and relaxation options:

• 17 places to eat
• 7 speciality restaurants
• 12 places to enjoy a drink and see the sea
• 13 entertainment venues
• 16 whirlpools
• 4 swimming pools (three outside, one inside)
• 9 places to have breakfast
• 5 places for afternoon tea
• 7 places to have coffee

Cruises on this new ship will be going on sale in Autumn 2018.  The ship is yet to be named.  What do you think this ship will be called?

I would love the chance to go and see this new ship.  I still remember my ship visit on the Britannia on the day it first set sail on 25th April 2015.  I was lucky enough to get first glance at the cabins and try the food on board.  I fell in love with the ship and am still determined to sail on her.

Once pictures are released of the new P&O ship will I feel the same?  Only time will tell and I am looking forward to hearing more information.
