Australia and New Zealand By Cruise…The Best Places To See

Australia and New Zealand are on the bucket list for most people to travel to.  It is definitely on mine!  My parents were lucky enough to sail there last year and they both said they are two of their favourite destinations.

So what makes Australia and New Zealand so popular?  Well for a start they have something that will appeal to everyone from beach lovers to history geeks.

There are many fascinating differences between the two countries.  I have highlighted three of the top three things you need to see when cruising out there….

Blue Mountains

Here you will find one million hectares of tall forests, sandstone cliffs, canyons, waterfalls and bushland.  The best way to experience the blue hazed beauty is by going for short bushwalks or longer hikes where you can spot kangaroos and wombats along with a host of many other creatures.

Bay Of Islands

This paradise of stunning beauty and history comprises of 144 islands!  You can view this from your cruise ship where you can witness penguins, dolphins, whales and more.  There are also many tranquil towns to visit which have everything from galleries, shops and gourmet food to a railway line running through the centre.

Sydney Opera House

No visit to Australia would be complete without going to see the Sydney Opera House..the most famous Australian icon.  You can wander around inside and take in the colourful decor and also wander around outside to appreciate the marvel.  Take the opportunity to see an opera show or choose from a wide range of talks, comedy, dance and pop gigs.  There is always something going on.

I hope I have managed to give you a taste of what there is to do and see in Australia and New Zealand.  I also hope this has made you want to book yourself on a cruise so you can combine the best of both countries!

If these two fascinating countries are on your bucket list then please get in contact with me on 0333 300 2825 or [email protected] and I will help you tick this off.

Until next time Happy Cruising
