An Italian childrens choir, Sophia Loren and Matteo Bocelli

Well I have to say all the hype over the past week or so has been around the brand new launch of the MSC Seaview.

Over in Genoa Italy, esteemed members of the press and trade attended  along with Sophia Loren, the Godmother, for the official naming ceremony of the amazing new ship. There were performances from the Italian Childrens choir and Andrea Bocelli’s son- Matteo Bocelli. Was certainly an all star cast.

MSC Seaview will feature unique cabins that are aft facing overlooking the sunset beachaft pool aswell as the normal yacht club suites, aurea spa suites and inside cabins.

But its the features on board to be most excited about, for families – 2 full sized bowling alleys, a multi story forest aquaventure park with 5 waterslides,  Lego and Chicco play area, babies, children and teen clubs and a dedicated family restaurant.

There are 10 eateries and 19 bars and lounges along with the casino and theatre, a waterfront boardwalk and glass skywalk, panorama pool and movie screen, 4 deck atrium with swarovski crystal stair cases, a state of the art gym and aurea spa.

MSC Seaview will be sailing the Mediterranean and then South America on some fantastic itineraries

It has taken 3 years to build MSC Seaview, which first had its steel cut on my birthday –  16 October 2015.  But MSC are no strangers to delivering a fantastic new cruise ship, with no less than 10 coming out over the next few years!!!
