The most luxurious Expedition

Today i’m going to talk about the Silver Cloud Expedition, part of the Silversea fleet, a 6 Star cruise line. This has got to be the most luxurious and unique expedition at sea!

With 16-brand new Zodiacs, the only Relais & Chateaux restaurant in Antarctica and a pole to pole expedition itinerary, Silver Cloud really does break the ice between expedition and luxury. After extensive refurbishment, Silver Cloud will be the most spacious and comfortable ice class vessel in expedition cruising. Her large suites, her destination itineraries and her unparalleled service make her truly special.  80% of her suites include a veranda,  Large outdoor open spaces offer a perfect setting to enjoy the scenery. A limited number of guests, particularly with just 200 in polar waters, means that Silver Cloud has the highest space to guest and crew to guest ratios in expedition cruising. With her 16 zodiacs, 10 kayaks, guests have a chance to explore the best possible way . A team of up to 22 passionate and dedicated expedition experts are always at hand to ensure your voyage is enhanced every step of the way

So where is the Silver Cloud taking you?

Ushuaia, It’s the gateway to Antarctica cruises and tours to nearby Isla Yécapasela, known as “Penguin Island” for its penguin colonies.

South Georgia. This island is a paradise for wildlife lovers, with literally millions and millions of animals going about their lives with little concern for the handful of humans that occasionally appear

Nightingale Island, Tristan de Cunha. Only visitors escorted by guides from Tristan da Cunha are permitted to visit the island, and most visitors come as part of a cruise ship itinerary. There are no permanent settlements on the island

Gough Island. The island and Weather Station on it represent one of the most remote places on the planet with constant human presence.

Elephant Island. This tiny island in the Weddell Sea plays a role in one of seafaring history’s most legendary exploits. This is where explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton, was trapped in the ice during a 1914 polar expedition, they took refuge on this island until help arrived.
