Wicked weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We love any excuse to throw a party so Halloween this year gave us the perfect opportunity to catch up with family and friends and it certainly turned out to be a weekend to remember.

It all started when I visited a warehouse back in August to buy fancy dress costumes for a Pirate camping weekend. In a far corner of the building where staff were starting to display the Halloween decorations I spotted this sad tree.

I decided to give it a good home and thought it would look great in our conservatory with some lights on for Halloween.

Let’s just say from there the escalation began.

Over the past week instead of snuggling by the fire cursing about the dark nights and the clocks going back we decorated our house from top to bottom with witches, skeletons, grave stones, pumpkins, you name it anything creepy.

Our conservatory turned into a gloomy wood.

The kitchen was full of witch potions created with the help from April & Maddie during the school holidays

Our bathroom the all important crime scene investigated by our very own PC Hunt

Our neighbours did wonder what on earth was going on when I turned the front garden into a grave yard

We initially thought we would have a little get together mainly for the kids. We had a party to go to on the Saturday night so we proceeded to invite a FEeeeeeWwwww………… friends and family around on the Sunday afternoon for a Spooky BBQ and a cheeky beverage. This resulted in 40 of our friends and family donning their best Halloween costumes for a night we will not forget in a hurry.

The ‘Green goddess’ cocktails were flowing, my uncle Nick turned devilish on the decks.

To skip to the chase we were still rocking to the ‘Ace of spades’ blasting out in our kitchen at 2:30am on Monday morning, it’s a good job the neighbours were invited, that’s all I can say.

Here some of the best bits for your entertainment…………..
