Why should I upgrade?

Upgrades can come is all different forms.

You may want to upgrade your cabin so they the position on the ship is better or it might be because you would like a balcony stateroom.

I recently returned from a great trip on the Harmony of the seas. I was upgraded to a balcony stateroom overlooking the Central Park. It was fantastic. You pay less than a balcony on the outside and watching the hustle and bustle is great. It is also nice to get the breeze in your cabin rather than relying on the air conditioning to cool you down. Beware, the cabins are noisy! Ok if you close the balcony door! But with the door open it is like a disco in your cabin! Not for everyone I expect. Another point to remember is there are cabins opposite so avoid walking round your cabin naked!

You may like to upgrade your flight seats especially if you are on a long journey. Premium economy is a great affordable way to upgrade. This gives you a bigger seat and more legroom. Upgrade to first class and your travel is a whole new experience. Your seat turns into a flat bed and drinks are flowing throughout your flight.

How about upgrading your cruise ship? If you fancy something really special then upgrading to a 5* or even 6* luxury cruise ship is a fantastic option.

A great example would be upgrading to 6* Regent Severn Seas cruises.

Yes you have to pay more but you get so much more for your money! Included in your cruise fare are… Free flights and transfers on every cruise, free WIFI, unlimited shore excursions, free speciality restaurants, unlimited drinks and gratuities! All these extras do mount up so with a Regent cruise you will have a very small bill at the end of the cruise!

If this is a step too far then you could consider Azamara or Oceania cruises which are 5* luxury with less included however they are much more affordable prices.

River cruises are also a fantastic experience and again there is so much included in the price! The more luxury River cruise lines even include a home pick up!
