P&O cruise to offer Virgin Atlantic flights to the Caribbean

P&O offer some fantastic islands and resorts in the Caribbean and have done for a number of years now. Returning to the same destinations doesn’t seem to bother regular and repeat P&O customers because lets face it, when you are only in the ports for 1 day there is always something new to see or visiting your favorite beach may be something you really enjoy.

Have you ever repeated an itinerary because you have enjoyed it so much?

I have visited Cuba, Jamaica and Dominican Republic more than once and enjoyed both trips because there is so much to see.

In a recent article I wrote about the P&O Adonia retuning to the UK market in the summer and cruising from Southampton and then sailing over to the Caribbean for the winter.

The Adonia is the smallest in the P&O fleet and offers the opportunity to visit much smaller ports in a much more intimate environment but still experiencing the excellent service, food and entertainment (although may be more low key than some of the larger ships) that regular P&O customer enjoy.

Some new destinations include Mayreau which is the smallest of the islands in the Grenadines, Santarem city in Brazil, situated in the Amazon River and Bequia an island off St Vincent which measures only 7 square miles.

P&O have teamed up with Virgin Atlantic to offer flights for the Adonia Caribbean sailings.

This is fantastic news for P&O to be able to provide this service with such a recognised airline.

Flights will be available from Manchester and Heathrow with the choice of 3 cabin. Economy, premium economy and upper class departing from November 2017 to March 2018.

Founder and President of Virgin Group Sir Richard Branson (L) and burlesque artist Dita Von Teese appear with a Virgin Atlantic Airways 747-400 aircraft at McCarran International Airport June 15, 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Branson is celebrating his British airline's 10th anniversary of flying between London and Las Vegas.

This really gives you the chance to experience the finer things! The upper class price are from £799pp each way and premium £399. Fantastic prices!

What do you think of the news?

Will you be tempted to try the Adonia because of the flight experience?

Have you cruised the Caribbean on the P&O Adonia before? Will this news encourage you to return?
