Foxes Never Quit

Well this bank holiday weekend will not be forgotten for many years to come. We saw our local football team Leicester City defy all odds and win the premier league.
I have always supported the club but don’t pretend to know a lot about football and will never understand the off side rule. However I love the atmosphere and have been to many games in the past especially now my youngest daughter is a fan and enjoys playing football herself, training and playing 5 times a week !!
My whole family are huge Leicester City fans and many of them are season ticket holders. It has always been their dream but never thought it would be a reality.
The whole of Leicester is buzzing and for the past few months has been the main topic of conversation anywhere I have been.
We have friends who haven’t been able to sleep for fear that it would slip away from them in these last few games but I am pleased to say that they can now get a good night sleep.
We watched the game at home because my husband refuses to watch it anywhere else so he can concentrate on the game and doesn’t miss anything so the kids got their Leicester kit on and sat through the tension on Sunday.

The champagne stayed on ice as we didn’t quite manage it on Sunday but when Chelsea scored their second goal you could hear the celebrations from all around us. The kids went to school today after a very late night celebrating and I am sure the party will continue at the weekend when we lift the trophy.
Well done Leicester you have made the fans dreams come true .
