Regent Seven Seas name H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco as Godmother of Explorer

 

Regent Seven Seas, the six star ultra luxury cruise line have just announced that H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco will be the god mother of their 4th ship, the new Seven Seas Explorer.

There will be a ceremony held in Monte Carlo on the 13th July which will include a performance from world renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli.

Regent have said that as this is the world’s most luxurious ship they felt it would be fitting to have it christened in such a glamorous location as Monte Carlo and by a Princess.

These will be exciting times for Regent Seven Seas and for the people who like to sail with them as this will be the first new ship to join the fleet since 2003.

Regent ships never carry a large amount of passengers and the Voyager will be no different with a maximum capacity of 750 guests.

The good news is that Voyager will be spending time in the Mediterranean for her inaugural season before relocating to Miami.

The maiden voyage will be on the 20th July 2016.
