P&O announce the return of Adonia

I am really pleased to hear the news that the Adonia will be returning to sail for P&O Cruises UK after leaving in 2015 to work for Project Fathom.

Project Fathom were operating cruises for “volunteer tourism” which meant that passengers would sail to locations enabling them to do volunteer work for local communities that needed it. As much as I think the idea of this was nice, I hadn’t personally spoken to anyone who was actually interested in doing this.

I did however have a reasonable amount of my clients who enjoyed regularly sailing on the Adonia. The Adonia sails as an adult only ship for P&O and while P&O have alternative adult only offerings on the Oriana or Arcadia these were quite alot larger holding around 2000 passengers as opposed to the 700 of Adonia.

Adonia will be returning in June 2017 and will sail itineraries to Europe and the Caribbean. She will also be having some upgraded done before her return including the addition of Olly Smith’s “Glass House”, an outdoor cinema and refreshed furnishings.

The new itineraries will be going on sale early December, so very shortly.
