WOW! What can I say! My first Cruise.co.uk Christmas party didn’t fail to disappoint! Now after speaking to a few of my colleagues, it is normally on a cruise ship, but due to our ever expanding company, there wasn’t a cruise ship available to take us. So we settled on Butlins. Now I do hear a few moans and groans, but it was on of the best laughs I have had in such a long time. The staff and all it’s facilities were wonderful and couldn’t fault any of them.
It started on the Friday morning, where we would listen to cruise lines explain to us what was going on within the next few months (new ships – keep an eye out for them!), then it was party time for the first night, which was 60’s theme! And everybody made such a good effort, it was great to see! Compared to most people, my “costume” was quite boring – just a 60’s style jacket! It was also good to catch up with my training group who I haven’t seen in about a year!
Over the weekend, there was some great laughs to be had, and it was good to actually put faces to names. You speak to the majority of people over the phone but, as a home worker, it can get lonely. So to be able to actually talk in person to your colleagues is great! And I wouldn’t change it for the world!
So it is now back to reality to prepare for the busiest time of year for us at Cruise.co.uk, there are sure to be some cracking offers and reduced cruises to be had, so get in whilst you can, as the deals will not last forever.
