Ever wanted to say to people ” I did that”, well now is your chance!

In 2020, P&O will be launching Britain’s biggest cruise ship, and they are asking the British Public to name her!  So it’s time to make your mark on history.  On-board this new ship, there will be more choices of accommodation, more places to dine in style, more places to relax, more entertainment and more freedom.

The new ship will accommodate approximately 5,200 guests (lower berths).

It will have a striking new exterior and interior design and will comprehensively embrace the company’s classic and iconic features.

It will also be the most environmentally efficient ship in P&O Cruises history.

So P&O are looking for a name that is worthy of her stature, they want something memorable and reflecting of her position as the new star of P&O Cruises.

Now obviously there are going to be the silly names that come out of the hat, and I’m sure we could all name a few daft names.  But the question is, is this just a ploy for P&O to gain interest in its new venture, are are they actually trusting the British public to name its newest ship?

I for one, would love to be a part of that naming ceremony, and getting involved to say to people, I helped name that ship!  I think it would be a huge honour to know you helped name a ship that will sail across the seas baring the name you chosen.  The competition is now open for people to submit their chosen names, but please, I am begging you, no silly ones.
