Will Cunard give inspiration to Ed?

Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 has just come out of quite a big re fit and she seems to be attracting some famous faces. Queen Mary 2 is the only ship that has trans-Atlantic sailings all year round so it is a lovely relaxing way to cross the pond and as we know a lot of business is done with our American friends.

It has been recently reported that singer songwriter Ed Sheeran has been spotted on the Queen Mary 2 sailing from New York to Southampton. Is this the new trend that song writers are starting as many people know the trans-Atlantic sailings from New York to Southampton are very relaxing and there is no airport check in, no worry about the airline losing your luggage and all there is from the Big Apple to the UK’s busiest cruise port is open water. Obviously there will be activities on board for you to join in with but if you just want to sit back and relax and write songs for instance then sailing on Queen Mary 2 is easily the best way.

However Mr Sheeran is quite well known for his, well lets say scruffy appearance.  I don’t think he has ever been photographed in a suit. So this was a problem for him on board as Cunard run a policy of smart clothing when clients go into the Britannia Restaurant and he allegedly did not have any with him.  So Mr Sheeran had to dine in the Kings Court which is Queen Mary’s buffet Restaurant where they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and a wide range of different cuisines so Ed didnt go hungry.

Do you think that being on the open seas Ed’s new album might have a nautical theme?  Or maybe something to do with dressing up at dinner? Rod Stewart has already done ‘Sailing’ so Ed you will have to think of a different nautical title!!
