Nautical Neil's Life on the Ocean Wave

Oceans ready with Princess

Princess Cruises Medallion class ships are technologicaly amazing.  Before you board the ship you can download their app and use this to do your online check in and create your e ticket….you simply then walk upto the guys and girls at check in at the port, they scan your barcode on your ticket, give you your medallion and away you go.

The Medallion acts as a GPS so you can use the app or even use the big screens by the elevators to navigate the ship and even find friends or relatives.

One of my favourite places to eat was Alfredo’s.  Now Princess cruises claim that this is the ‘best pizza at sea’  who am I to dispute that…it was excellent. Look at the menu, loads of choice from pizza to calzones and look NO PRICES yes its complimentary.

I was in cabin B729 which was quite aft and I thought i may get some movement being at the rear of the ship, however it was perfect with reat views.

Drinks on board were not badly priced too for an American cruise line that is.

The Entertainment was excellent, like beeing in the West End.  We only got to see one show however the advertising for the Rock Opera show which will be on board now had the wow factor.

As you can see I was appreciated by my collegues, dont’ worry I can swim !
