Love Is In The Air!

I think I should call myself a bit of a matchmaker!  Speaking to a lovely client of mine earlier this week, as he has just come back from his very first cruise. He went all the way to Singapore and cruised from there to Perth, had a few days there then came home.  Not looking for “love” at all.  Sitting in the restaurant first night of the cruise, (and I quote) “a beautiful woman came to my table” and that was it! All through the cruise they stayed together and are now planning to meet up again in a few months on, you guessed it another cruise!

In June of this year, my long standing client took his partner to Canada on the Rocky Mountaineer and a Holland America cruise, only for him to propose at Lake Louise!! Then this week we hear Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are to be married – how wonderful, they look so happy. Prince Harry if you’re after a nice cruise, please do call me!

Seriously though, love can catch us unawares can’t it? For all of you who are single, or perhaps on honeymoon or wanting to make your holiday extra special- here are some reasons why you most definitely need to try a cruise

Every night you can do something different. From a “posh” meal to watching a film under the stars, to hitting the casino to watching a show.

Where else can you stand and watch great sunsets and sunrises?

You can get dressed up and show your “posh ” side or just lounge around in your swimwear!

You certainly can make many memories from a fantastic shore excursion or visiting a destination you have never been to.

It is true though, romance is what you make of it. It may be just sitting in a hot tub with a glass of wine and watching the sun go down is more for you (actually sounds lovely) – whatever it is come and try and dont forget you can make it a bit more special by ordering flowers, chocolates or champagne in your cabin to woo your love!
