Brendan Is Still Dancing……..

Are you a Strictly fan? If you are, I guess you would have been shocked to hear that Brendan Cole has been axed from the series at the end of this year. What a shame. However, don’t be too disappointed because if you want to see him you should get yourself off on the Danube river cruise with Emerald Waterways. Yes, Brendan is on this cruise on the 26th June from Passau to Budapest, you can see him dance and ask him lots of questions!

Brendan is not the only one who will be on a river cruise this year, courtesy of Emerald.  You could meet Tim Wonnacott (the antiques expert) on the Arles to Lyon cruise in June or Carol Klein (from Gardeners World) on the Holland in Bloom cruise in April.  If you have not been on a river cruise with Emerald before, I can 100% vouch for them as I travelled on the Danube 2 year ago, they are fantastic.  Flights are from a regional airport (sadly not Newcastle, but us Geordies are used to that), all meals included, complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks during your meals, complimentary tea and coffee and water in your stateroom. A shore excursion nearly every day, free wi- fi, and a lovely touch of complimentary bicycles on board.  The Emerald ships also have a swimming pool at the back of the ship, which at night is turned into a cinema.

The sister company to Emerald is Scenic.  Now we are taking a “step up” from Emerald, which I find hard to believe as they are so good! Scenic offer all drinks complimentary, all tips too. Butler service and six dining options on board.  Once again they are including cruises to meet interesting people such as Michel Roux Jr on the Tarascon to Chalon -sur- Saone cruise in May or Kate Adie and John Simpson on the Belgrade to Black sea in April.
