Pampered Pets at Sea

I have recently completed my online training with Cunard and have received the highest status in training which is Commodore.  One thing for sure is, I never knew that Cunard allowed Pets on board, not across the whole fleet but on the fabulous Queen Mary 2.

Cunard’s Pets on deck programme is registered with the Pet Travel System (PETS) on transatlantic sailings from Southampton to New York or vice versa New York to Southampton.

The Pets on Deck programme offer a range of pet friendly services on board. A choice beds and blankets with freshly baked biscuits at turn down is all part of what your pet can expect on board.

Deck 12 is where you will find the kennels along with a designated walking/exercise area.  A lamp post and fire hydrant has also been added to help make your pet feel at home as much as possible.  A dedicated kennel master is on board to ensure your pet is looked after and a different variety of visiting times are available for you to spend quality time with your Fur babies.

I am sure that you will all agree It is not the best feeling in the world having to say goodbye to our beloved Fur babies whilst we are leaving to go on our adventures, but now you can bring them along with you.  I’m certain my boy Rocky would love to run around Central Park and some point in his doggy life.

Till next time
