Norwegian Cruise line ups it’s game…

This week we have seen Norwegian cruise line announce the fantastic news that they are now going to now be premium all-inclusive on all sailings all dates for the uk guest.

What does this mean to you? You will no longer have to add on drinks or gratuities as these are now included in your cruise fare whether you drink or not and whether you tip or you don’t.

Premium all-Inclusive includes drinks in all bars, lounges and restaurants on-board the line’s 14 ships, including spirits, tap beer, bottled beer, wine, cocktails, soft drinks and juices.

The changes took place on the 6th April and apply to all new bookings. The new prices will not include Norwegian Cruise Line’s specialty dining and dining packages these will still be available for you to add onto your cruise. Unless you book a haven or suite accommodation you will then benefit from WiFi minutes, specialty dining and on-board credit.

Norwegian offering premium all-inclusive will give you peace of mind. They say that it will work out cheaper than booking in the past and adding the extras on. It’s worth over £1200 per cabin on a 7 night sailing. This will also be available in Pride of America sailing out of Hawaii which has never been able to be included in the free drinks promotions due to local laws.

Thomson cruise line offer all-inclusive and include tips in the cost and this has always been something customers love as everything is included and there’s no hefty drinks bill at the end. Will Norwegian have the same success? Will we see the Thomson customer jump ship now Norwegian has all-inclusive?

What do you think of the news? Do you normally purchase a drinks package? Do you feel that you are paying for something you wouldn’t benefit by and your paying over the top? Do you think all-inclusive cruising is better?

Let me know your thoughts….
