Royal Princess- My review………………………

Just back from my 3 night break on Royal Princess, here are my thoughts……..

Lovely cabin on Caribe deck balcony forward location, had everything you could want except was surprised that Princess dont have the facility to make tea and coffee in your cabin, however I was reassured its only a phone call away to room service and you will get your morning fix! Was also smaller than had with other cruiselines.

Food was really impressive, had the surf and turf or Steak & Lobster in the Crown Grill which was cooked to perfection and a couple of rather dishy waiters! The Crown Grill is a  premium seafood and chop house has been blended together with the popular Wheelhouse Bar for a complete evening of dining and entertainment in one location. These traditional spaces feature a new contemporary look that modernizes the rich club-like atmosphere of the Crown Grill and the nautical Wheelhouse Bar. With its signature theater-style open kitchen, the Crown Grill sets the stage for a menu of chops, seafood and premium Sterling Silver steaks. Meanwhile the Wheelhouse Bar offers a comfortable place to sip a drink and enjoy live piano entertainment. The location also features a free daily pub lunch. Crown Grill cover charge: $25. The main dining room also had a super choice and service to match, the buffet restaurant for lunches and breakfasts had a huge variety of food to suit all taste buds. Princess also claim to have the best Pizza at sea, and I have to admit probably true!

I loved the live singers and balloon drop on the formal evening, the atmosphere was electric and everyone had a great time! My personal favorite place for a tipple was the Bellini Bar, the staff were so friendly and personable made us feel like old friends.

I was really impressed with the range of drinks on board and on the 3  nights I was on did manage to sample the majority of the drinks on the menu, but hands down winner was the Gin Bramble! All good quality, good measures and served with an infectious smile!

The thing that stood out to my the most was the staff on this ship, everyone was so friendly, hospitable, and had a smile on their face and really made you feel they wanted to ensure you had an enjoyable experience, so well done Princess, you may not have the Rock climbing walls, racing tracks and surfing on board, but you have a great mix of everything else and have the most engaged, pleasant staff I have come across at sea!

I would love to sail with Princess in the near future!
