Dubai Celebration

I’m really excited because Thomson have announced that they will be basing the Thomson Celebration in Dubai from December 2016.
This will really open this dream destination to British cruisers as Thomson will be offering flights from 6 regional airports – Manchester, London Gatwick, Birmingham, Cardiff, Newcastle and Glasgow, something that no other cruise line currently offers.

The Celebration will be offering two seven night itineraries ‘Arabian Nights’ and ‘Cities of Gold’ and the ship will stop overnight in Dubai and visit six  destinations including Khasab and Muscat in Oman, Manama in Bahrain, Doha in Qatar, Abu Dhabi and Khor Fakkan in the UAE.

Customer’s will also be given the chance to add a 7 night stay in one of Dubai’s luxurious hotels including the Atlantis the Palm and it is this that really excites me, currently a 7 night extension in Dubai to add to a Royal Caribbean or MSC cruise is expensive in comparison to the cruise, whereas with the buying power of TUI, Thomson’s parent company the hotel rates should be very competitive.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates - April 04, 2012: Atlantis, The Palm, the luxury five star hotel located on the outer crescent of the man made island, the Palm Jumeirah in the Arabian Gulf city of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. In the foreground the waters of the Persian Gulf and date palms transplanted to create a man made garden in front of the hotel. Some traffic and people can also be seen. These cruises are going on sale in next month and Thomson normally have some fantastic early booking offers including free all inclusive drinks packages so I recommend early booking.

Please feel free to e-mail or call me if you fancy going to Dubai with Thomson and I will let you know the prices as soon as I have them.
