How To Get To Southampton

Most of the cruise ships which sail from the UK will do so from Southampton. My main holiday this year will be on Explorer of the sea by Royal Caribbean we will be sailing from Southampton. So after deciding on what cruise to take and from where, we then had to look at how to get there. One of the best reasons to sail from the UK is there is no baggage allowance.

• Should we drive?
• Should we go by train?
• Which option is the quickest?
• Will I get there in time for my cruise?
• Most important – which one is the cheapest?

I worked out the cost’s Driving versus Coach & price wise there was very little difference to be honest.

With that in mind we decided to book the coach Royal Caribbean use Eavesway a long and established coach company, we have been to Southampton with them before and know first hand how good and reliable they are.

They travel from all over the UK from Glasgow down to London including Heathrow Airport, on our route we will have 1-2 stops on the way.
