Go Karting at Sea

You can Imagine my excitement this week when the new NCL Norweigian Cruise line announced another first at Sea with the Launch of Norwegian Joy.

This in true Norwegian style is set to be a fun ship with typical freedom dining and the laid back style we have become accustomed to with Norwegian. Where this ship is innovative and different is with the rather exciting launch of the Worlds first Go Karting track at Sea.

This is no ordinary go Karting track your little ones and adults alike will be able to t the feet down whilst you put you feet up with a two tiered track spanning the top two decks.

NCL are not new to Innovation this ship has so many of them and came in under budget at a whopping £640 Million, currently under construction in Germany and is set to sail in Summer 2017.

This ship is being designed specifically for the Chinese market and after its initial sailings is going to be positioned from Shanghai

There is set to be an open air laser Tag course for a much younger audience, there will be two multi story water slides and the Galaxy room a virtual reality room set to amaze guests.

One of the most exciting changes will be the Launch of a completely new Concierge Class of cabin which will be a new experience to what we have been used to on NCL i.e. the Haven Suites a ship within a ship as its refereed to.

Are you excited about the launch of the NCL Joy class of ships and have you considered a cruise to the Far East, or are you like me a little envious of the ships being made exclusively for the Chinese Market. I appreciate the region is great for cruising more than most but with Celebrity Royal and NCL all creating ground breaking new ships exclusively for the Far East the questions begs are we missing out here in Europe?

Love to hear your thoughts on this one?
