On the Hunt for the Free Stuff!

Most clients when enquiring about prospective cruises have a list of wants and needs, but the most popular want I get asked for is the free stuff. The bits the cruise lines throw in within your quote to entice you to book. Free on board credit, parking, drinks packages, Free kids, gratuities, excursions. That list is not exhaustive but you catch my drift. ‘So where are all these freebies you speak of?’ I hear you cry?

I am going to tell you just who is offering what at the moment but dont forget that promotions change regularly so you have to move quick if you find the deal you’ve been waiting for.

P&O – Choice of double onboard spend OR onboard spend with free coach transfers or free parking for ocean view staterooms and higher. For inside cabins just one lot of onboard spend will have to do – this is included in the Select fare only, those booking on the saver fares will get a decent discount off their cruise price but no freebies to go with it sadly.  Cruise.co.uk will also give you the free parking should you choose to go for the double onboard spend providing you are booking the top grade of balcony or higher.

Royal Caribbean – The biggy for Royal is always the free drinks package but unfortunately not being offered just now. Their current promotion is % off the cruise fare plus onboard spend ranging from $50 per cabin on insides and up to $1000 on suites if you book before the 3rd July. Cruise.co.uk are also offering Free port parking and free wifi or free pre-cruise stay for ex UK sailings or free airport parking or free fast track security passes plus free wifi on fly cruises*.

Celebrity Cruises – For applicable Ocean View staterooms and above for May 18 to December 18 cruises you can save up to £900 per cabin, get up to $150pp onboard credit, a 404 minute wifi package AND theyll even thrown in their Class Beverage Package for the first 2 passengers and a non alcoholic package for the 3rd and 4th passenger. For 2017 cruises through to April 2018 again for Ocean View and above you’ll get a Classic Drinks package for 2 and a non alcoholic package for any 3rd and 4th guests in the cabin plus up to $150pp onboard credit. Book by 31st August 2017. Nice huh? Plus, Cruise.co.uk will throw in more free spending money up to $200 per cabin or free parking or a free spa treatment*.

MSC are currently offering free drinks packages on selected sailings departing out of Southampton, they are also offering some sailings with free upgrades from inside to balcony but these are quite limited in availability now.  They offer free kids places on many of their sailings too (outside of peak times usually) and free WIFI is being offered by Cruise.co.uk from bookings on balcony staterooms and above*.

Cunard – FREE UPGRADES!! Wooohooo. Yes you can get an upgrade from inside to outside, outside to balcony, balcony to club balcony and club balcony to grill suite. PLUS Cruise.co.uk will throw in a Free Wine Package worth $175 per cabin for booking a BA balcony or higher. Cruise.co.uk are chucking in free onboard spending money

Princess Cruises – Their promotion just now is half price kids and 5% low deposit on their Med and ex UK sailings and half price on 3rd or 4th passenger for Caribbean and Alaska. Cruise.co.uk are chucking in free onboard spend on selected cruises.

Fred Olsen – Free all inclusive, free ONSHORE spending money or free door to door transfers is up for grabs. Plus Cruise.co.uk give you free parking for a balcony or above.

Holland America Line – Kids for £1, free upgrades and free parking plus Suites get extra $300 onboard credit and a drinks/soda card. Cruise.co.uk will add $50 of onboard credit or free airport parking*.

Cruise & Maritime – Nice and simple… 50% off. Cruise.co.uk will add a wine package for all bookings except inside cabins.

Norwegian Cruise Lines have recently gone All Inclusive so drinks and tips are included in their fares as standard (tips extra for suite guests). They have a flash sale running until 20th June with an extra £200 per cabin off. If you book a Suite with Cruise.co.uk we’ll pay your tips for you.
