Star Princess ‘Come Back To New’

The Star Princess from Princess Cruise Lines has re-emerged following a two week multi million dollar renovation as part of Princesses ‘ Come Back New Promise’ to enhance guests on board experience .

What have they done to upgrade her and spend that amount of money?

All cabins now have the Princess Luxury Beds installed, I’ve got to admit these are one of the best beds I have slept in , pipped only by the Encore at the Wynn in Las Vegas beds.

The Princess Luxury bed was designed with sleep expert Dr Michael Breus and HGTV Designer Candice Olson to make sure you get a greats night sleep with a scientifically engineered mattress and bed springs, 2 inch deep pillows and 100% Jacquard woven linens to snuggle underneath…..Bliss

Sabatini’s Italian restaurant has a new look and a new menu  , definitely worth a visit for authentic pasta , Italian wines and don’t forget the Italian desserts!

The Youth Centres have been re designed , there is something for children of all ages.

Just for kids 3-7 years old have Camp Discovery in the Tree house.

Just for kids 8-12 years old are in The Lodge

Just for Teens 13-17 years old hang out in The Beach House

All the areas allow children to be supervised and have age appropriate entertainment allowing mum and dad free time to relax …..Happy kids = happy mums and dads.

You will also notice new carpets  and upholstery around the ship and see improvements in the shops, casino and spa areas.

I’ve got lost of clients sailing on her around South America soon and look forward to there feedback on her upgrade .

Star Princess had her inaugural  cruise on February 13th 2002 and was last refurbished in December 2011.

There are 1297 guest cabins on 17 decks with 2,600 guests and 1,100 crew .
