Hannah's Harbours

I did the SeaWalk!

I’m just home from an amazing 24 hours on board the new Royal Princess, and what a stunning ship she is! It was a bit of a whirlwind trying to get round her as she is a big vessel, but the parts we managed to see were stunning.

I think my favourite area has to be Sanctuary, an adults only area on Deck Sixteen, or is that Seventeen? Anyway, luxury, pampering and peace and quiet are the order of the day in this area.Oh to be able to spend a few days unwinding there, it would be sheer bliss.

I did the SeaWalk, somewhat gingerly I must admit. Unfortunately the view below was only Southampton Docks but it will be a fabulous place to be when the ship is sailing.

A point to note, the SeaWalk is above the centre of the ship where all the mini suites are situated, so if you like doing a bit of topless sunbathing on your balcony it would not be a good idea to book a cabin below this, as you get a birds eye view from up there!

Food and service was all excellent – as usual I tried as much food as possible! Dinner last night was in Concerto, the ‘Open Dining’ restaurant and very good it was too.

All in all, a lovely ship. A real asset for Princess, and I am sure she will serve the brand well.
