Where have the last 3 years gone?

I can’t believe how fast the last 3 years have gone.  Yesterday marked my 3rd wedding anniversary and I am spending the time in Leeds.  Every year we try and go away for a few days over our anniversary.  This year we decided to head to Leeds for 3 nights.  I am not quite sure why we picked Leeds but it certainly seems to have a lot to offer.  We booked into a central city hotel and have a restaurant booked for Friday night.  We may go to Harrogate if we get time.  We also try and do Afternoon Tea every year at the hotel where we had our wedding reception.  This may be the first year we don’t make this unless we go when we get back from Leeds.  I can’t quite believe where the last 3 years have gone, it only seems like yesterday when we were breaking up to get married and go on honeymoon.  It also means that we have been in our brand new house for over 3 years now.  We have had lots of holidays and short breaks within the last 3 years and nothing has changed this year.  I am looking forward to just having some time together and doing some shopping.  Over the next few weeks I have a few breaks to look forward to.  Leeds at the moment and then next week I am going to Great Yarmouth for 3 nights.  I am leaving hubby at home this time as he is working and spending some time with my family.  Then the week after I have a holiday booked to Devon with my husband.  Not my normal abroad holiday for this time of year but looking forward to having a week off and hopefully will get some sun.  This year has also flown by and it will soon be Christmas and then we can plan 2017 holidays.  I always like to have things planned ahead whether it be a weekend away or a weeks holiday.  it certainly is nice to have something to look forward to.
