Few Days in Rockley

As you will be reading this I am away.  I’m having a few days away in Poole, Dorset.  We travelled down on Tuesday evening and are spending 3 nights here.  We are staying at Rockley Park which is just a short drive away from Poole.   Me and my husband have joined my mother in law and brother in law who went down on Sunday.  As my mother in law owns a holiday home here they go down every year to open up the home ready for the season.  Me and Jon travelled down last year which was our first time when they van was opened and decided to go again this year and spend a few days with the family.  We will be taking in the sights while there and hope the weather is kind to us.  Bournemouth isn’t too far away to drive to and also the posh area Sandbanks isn’t that far.  We normally take a drive around Sandbanks to see if we can spot any celebrities.  The site itself is a good size and you can walk down to a small beach area where they do lots of water sports.  The park isn’t open to the public until Friday so not all of the facilities are open but that is fine as we travel out and about.  There is a nice pub/restaurant not too far from the park which we go to.  As we get treated as owners also we get to use the owners lounge while there which has its own pool and bar area.  I really like the area and will also be going down later in the year for a 10 day holiday just me and my husband.  last year when we went the weather was perfect and we had blue sky for the few days.  We are just hoping that this time is the same.  I will let you know how we get on.
