Isn’t taking a holiday supposed to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience? – well you certainly would not think that if you knew some of the complaints that people actually make. Have we lost our sense of humour and  our common sense? Are we so much into the ” If there’s blame then there’s a claim culture “?

As a cruise consultant I speak to lots of people who for the most part enjoyed their cruise and can’t wait to book another, but, occasionally there are complaints. As you can imagine they range from very serious to very trivial, some can be dealt with easily others take time – they are all different, but the other day whilst I was searching for some information on the Internet I came across some very funny, I will say complaints – but there are a few other words I could use……..

What about the customer on a Celebrity Cruise who asked for a full refund as there were no celebrities on board? or the cruiser that complained to the Captain about the noise of the engine at night – and could he turn it off?

Now I don’t know about you but when I look at images of The Titanic, she must of been a ground breaking ship to look at but times have changed and so I wonder at the customer who complained that the ship she was on didn’t look like The Titanic, and why wasn’t she told this beforehand?

Have you ever suffered from sea sickness? Well why not complain and ask for a list of suitable cruises that would not make you sea sick – perhaps a trip to the local duck pond would be more in order !!

What picture springs to mind when I say Alaska? Snow, Ice – yes, that’s what I see, so how would you respond to a request for a full refund as the weather wasn’t as warm as expected!
