My Eclipse Cruise – of a different kind..

Hello, well just finishing up the last few bits on my desk – after a very hectic week of bookings, it is now time for my holiday… obviously after I finish the non-work related “to do list” – sort car insurance, sort breakdown cover, sort travel insurance, print tickets oh yes and pack !!!

I do love my holidays, and once away it will truly be worth it but I am the least organised person when it comes to arranging everything for my own holiday.

So, I am going on a “Cruise” across the English Channel sailing with Brittany Ferries from Portsmouth to Le Havre and we are then travelling to near Le Mans for 1 week in a villa with a private pool – oh and a fishing lake to keep my husband happy.  There are 4 adults going – 2 couples and we are taking our car plus a large van (for all the fishing equipment !!)  I am looking forward to lazy days by the pool drinking French Wine and also hoping to do some walking, whilst my husband is hoping to catch his own personal best Carp.

This just goes to show how each person’s idea of a holiday is different..!!

Here is hoping for calm seas for my overnight crossing tomorrow.. oh and you may be wondering what I meant about Eclipse –  there is meant to be the longest lunar eclipse this century tomorrow night so I am hoping for some spectacular views of this.

So I will say Au Revoir for now and for those of you departing on your cruise in the next 10 days I also wish you Bon Voyage.
