Auf Wiedersehen….

Don’t Panic,  Auf Wiedersehen is not my final good bye… just my next departure from my office.

I must admit how much I really do love my job here at Cruise.co.uk and the variety in the bookings that we do.  An area of particular interest to me is River Cruising – and something I have never previously experienced myself personally.  So I am absolutely delighted to be given the opportunity for a 4 nights taster river cruise and will be departing on Monday.

The trip is part of a “familiarisation” tour being ran by Shearings Holidays who offer an extensive range of River Cruises both including flights or by Coach Travel which they are more renowned for in the industry.

I will be flying from Southend Airport, another first, on Monday morning to Cologne to join the A-Rosa Silva for 4 nights in a beautiful looking Cabin with a Juliette Balcony.

My Itinerary is all about experiencing River Cruising and the facilities of the A-Rosa Silva including the swimming pool, spa and gym (ha ha !!), obviously trying out all the lovely food (that’s why I need the gym) and tasting the variety of the All Inclusive drinks package.

Our trip starts and finishes in the stunning Cathedral city of Cologne and takes in Mannheim and Mainz where I hope to get off and soak up some of the local culture and also I have an included day trip to Strasbourg.
